Red Bull optimistic for Bahrain

After finishing just off the podium at the Australian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing hopes to make an impression again on April 3 in Bahrain where Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat will aim for the forefront. The Milton Keynes team is counting in particular on the progress made by Renault on its Power Unit.

“This track is good. We had some problems last year, but things went better in the race.”, commented Daniil Kvyat who finished ninth in this event last year. “The long straight was our weak point, but we could be competitive with the progress made. It would be good to finish with both cars in the points. »

« The track is conducive to overtaking. There are opportunities to be had if you are able to activate the DRS before the first corner.", added Daniel Ricciardo, sixth at the Bahrain GP last year. “The track offers at least four overtaking opportunities each lap. This circuit suits us well and we hope to have another good weekend after having obtained good results over the last two years. »
