Red Bull smiles again

“It’s a great result for the whole team. » proclaimed Christian Horner after the finish of the Hungarian Grand Prix. It is even relief that we must undoubtedly read in the first words of the Team Principal of Red Bull Racing, as the 2015 season remains complicated for the quadruple world champion team.

In the running for victory, Daniel Ricciardo could not reproduce the same scenario as in 2014, after a collision with the Mercedes by Rosberg. “I saw that Seb wasn't getting away, so I thought if I could get past Nico, I could probably go and get Seb. I saw an opening and gave it a shot. » Unfortunately for the Australian, his maneuver was not successful, causing him to lose all hope of success. « Nico finally came back to me on the way out ...I didn't have enough room and we touched each other. It's disappointing, but I didn't want to have any regrets."

For Daniil Kvyat, second place was his best career result. And yet the Russian's race got off to a bad start. “After the start, I thought my race was over, because I had a big flat on a tire. We discussed with the team whether we should return or not, but we decided to stay on track. Then we had a decent first stint, and we went in the right direction in the second half of the race. Today, I learned not to give up, no matter what. It's a really good lesson. » admitted the Russian at a press conference.
