Red Bull has submitted its appeal

The team Red Bull Racing submitted his appeal from the disqualification pronounced against Daniel Ricciardo at the end of the Australian Grand Prix, first round of the 2014 World Championship, at the FIA. The Australian was disqualified for a fuel flow greater than the regulatory 100kg/hour above an engine speed of 10 rpm. A date for a hearing is expected to be set within the week.

Red Bull had been warned by the FIA about its excessive consumption, in view of the sensor readings of the official authorities. The Austrian team then used its own sensors and remains confident in its own measurements.

You can find the analysis of the “Red Bull affair” in the 1952 issue of AUTOhebdo, available in digital version and on newsstands since Wednesday.
