Renault confirms its lines for the Barcelona tests

The Barcelona circuit had already spilled the beans for several hours: Nico Hulkenberg will start behind the wheel of the Renault RS 19 tomorrow in Catalonia to mark the start of winter testing in Barcelona.

The German will pilot the new car at the Losange tomorrow morning, before giving up his place after the mid-day break to his new teammate Daniel Ricciardo. The latter was already able to taste driving the RS 19 yesterday, duringa day of filming on the Montmelo track.

Renault has decided to alternate between its drivers as much as possible since Ricciardo will be in action on Tuesday morning, before leaving Hülkenberg behind the wheel in the afternoon. The schedule for these first two days will be repeated on Wednesday and Thursday.
