Renault on show in Bucharest

Renault continues its roadshow program, and rather twice than once, after a period of serious turbulence for the stable of the diamond firm. The accumulation of disappointing results, the exclusion of Nelson Piquet Jr, the appearance before the world council for the loss of the wheel of Fernando Alonso, another trip to Paris to resolve the Singapore “crashgate” affair: Renault has not been spared from hard blows this season and the team?s image has suffered greatly.

Also the 2009 Renault Roadshow program F1 Team is of particular importance, in order to bring the public closer to the team. After Dubai, Sochi and Oviedo, it was Bucharest which welcomed the white and yellow single-seaters. Romain Grosjean and Lucas di Grassi performed in front of more than 70 people. “ This is my first time in Romania and I must say that I really enjoyed it., confided the Franco-Swiss pilot. We were made very welcome and the atmosphere in Bucharest was superb. The people of Bucharest had never had the opportunity to see Formula 1 up close before, so we aimed to offer a quality spectacle and I think we succeeded! »

For Romain Grosjean, it is now time to focus on the Brazilian Grand Prix, the penultimate event of the season. After several lackluster performances, and despite a reluctant car, the Genevan will be keen to prove himself before the end of the season.
