Renault files complaint against Stroll's Racing Point RP20

The summer saga continues. A few hours after the 2020 British Grand Prix, Renault filed a new complaint against Racing Point. This third complaint during the last three events only concerns the car de Lance stroll, 9th at Silverstone.

While Daniel Ricciardo et Esteban Ocon finished 4th and 6th this Sunday in England, the French team is once again attacking the Canadian team over the legality of its car. According to Renault, this would not respect the regulations on the design of the brake ducts, copied from the part developed by Mercedes in 2019.

Behind this complaint lies a philosophical debate on the nature of Formula 1, namely the acceptance of client stables and the copying work in the face of preserving the creative spirit of the stables.
