After having regained a new partnership with Williams, Viruses-Châtillon must supply reliable and efficient engines to the four customer teams of the French engine manufacturer. Jean-François Caubet confirmed Losange's plans for the development of the V6, while emphasizing that the work to be done requires even more effort. “Our first V6 will be tested during 2012”, assures the director of Renault Sport F1. “We will subsequently create a development program for each element of this block. The future engine is much more difficult to produce compared to the V8s currently in use. We have planned our development program. We have strengthened our staff to be able to ensure our activity. »
