Not sure that Corneille's Le Cid is studied in the Netherlands. Also, are we not going to risk a translation of the famous quote from this play: "To conquer without peril, one triumphs without glory". But there is no doubt that this is what has been experienced Max Verstappen in 2024. Since the reintroduction of ground effect single-seaters almost three years ago, the steering prodigy has never been placed in such a delicate position, on the track or off it.

Yet if the start of the season delivered a score as melodious for the Dutchman as cacophonous for his rivals, the rest of the exercise did not beat the same measure. A victory
