Retro F1 – My season, a vintage vintage but which leaves a bitter taste

F1 gave us its best campaign in at least ten years on the track, while returning to a semblance of normality off it. But what a shame to witness such a staged bouquet when the fireworks which preceded had been of simply exceptional quality.

You know you're experiencing a season like no other when the Spanish and French Grands Prix turn into unbreathable thrillers. In a constantly expanding calendar, it is sometimes difficult to remember all the races in a championship, especially those where not much happened. Except that the twenty-two rounds of this 2021 campaign were all rich in spectacle, intrigue, controversy, and other dirty tricks as frustrating as they were tasty. Let's take advantage of it, because it is not certain that the aero revolution awaited like the Messiah will not give birth to such strong fireworks next year. On a more personal level, the 2021 season will have marked a return to progress
