Baku received the F1 for the first time in 2017 with the Azerbaijan GP. The urban event offered a thrilling race with numerous contacts in the peloton. Both Mercedes de Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas suffered in particular from clashes. While Daniel Ricciardo had failed his qualifications, the pilot Red Bull was able to return to the front and win in front of Valtteri Bottas while Lance stroll (Williams) completed the podium.
