Ricciardo: “More progress to come”

Starting from 22nd place on the Nüburgring grid, Daniel Ricciardo was not unworthy by finishing in 19th position at the finish of the German GP. Lacking pace against his teammate Vitantonio Liuzzi at Silverstone, the Australian highlighted his qualities by finishing ahead of Karun Chandhok, who exceptionally replaced Jarno Trulli within Team Lotus.

The Formula vice-champion Renault 3.5 Series is already satisfied to have seen the checkered flag of the two Grands Prix in which it participated. “It was a good thing to be at the finish again. I think I have made good progress since Silverstone, but there is still a way to go. My arrival was quite abrupt, but I think I still made progress this week. »

The driver from the program Red Bull hopes to continue on this path at the next Grand Prix which will be held this weekend in Budapest. ?If I can continue this progression, I am certain that this progress will be more visible with, I hope, better places at the finish. If I manage to be on the same climb from Silverstone to Hungary, more progress is to come. »
