Daniel Ricciardo received a 5-place penalty at the Australian GP following a gearbox change on his REd Bull RB13.

Ricciardo penalized at Australian GP

Daniel Ricciardo will only start from 15th place on the grid for the Australian GP. The pilot Red Bull received a 5 position penalty following a gearbox change on his RB13 following his accident during qualifyings during Q3 which caused a red flag.

Sergio Pérez (Force India) will be the first to benefit from the sanction imposed on Daniel Ricciardo by recovering 10th place on the grid. The Red Bull driver who is competing in his national Grand Prix will start between the Sauber C36s of Marcus Ericsson and Antonio Giovinazzi who replaces Pascal Wehrlein.

The start of the Australian Grand Prix will be at 7 a.m. (French time) and will be followed live on Canal+ and with our live text.
