Ricciardo plans an “attack” Sunday

The misfortunes of Mercedes brought happiness to Daniel Ricciardo. Fifth on the grid for the Sprint Race, the driver McLaren took advantage of the bad start of Lewis Hamilton to win a place in the race before taking the scalp of his teammate Lando Norris. If he then finished behind Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Valtteri Bottas, the Australian will start from 2nd position since the last city received a penalty for exceeding the engine allowance thus forcing him to move back to the back of the grid.

It feels good to come back. The most important day remains tomorrow. We gained a position thanks to Valtteri's penalty (Bottas) therefore we will be on the front line. I am very happy. »

With a performing MCL35M at Monza and only Max Verstappen in front of him, the Honey Badger (his nickname) has reason to think of a possible victory.
