Through a short message on Twitter, Haas said: “ Having enjoyed substantial brand recognition and significant media exposure through its partnership with Haas, a restructuring process within the Rich Energy organization will see the need to adjust global strategy.
Therefore, Haas F1 Team and Rich Energy concluded that ending the partnership was the best way forward for both parties. Haas F1 Team would like to express its thanks and best wishes to the owners of Rich Energy.”
This is the end of a story full of upheavals. Unknown to the battalion in France, Rich Energy arrived in the winter of 2019 at Haas, with a new livery using the colors of the beverage founded by the bearded William Storey.
However, in May, the company was found guilty of plagiarism for its logo, copied from a British bicycle brand. Then, in July, William Storey announced a first separation, before the bosses of the penultimate team in the Manufacturers' championship are not repairing the links in a hurry.
