The president of the Indian team is also banking on the variable weather at Interlagos to hope to gain positions. “ There can also be bad conditions, where we put ourselves to our advantage, like in Canada or Korea. We qualified well last year and even though the competition has become tougher and closer, I still hope we will put in a good performance. »

Vijay Mallya now expects better qualifying from the Indian single-seaters to hope to obtain a good result. “ We will add new improvements and some mechanical modifications to try to get the best out of the car. We saw that we did not make the most of the car's potential in qualifying for the Korean GP. We will try to improve that in Brazil to have a better race. This is really the home stretch. We will pull together to do our best. »
