Roberto Merhi will team up alongside Will Stevens at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The 23-year-old Spaniard will make his debut in F1 after taking third place in Formula Renault 3.5 Series last year with Zeta Corse.
“It’s a big responsibility but I feel ready for this important step in my career and to prove that I can make a big contribution to developing this team”, declared Roberto Merhi who signed a contract with Pons Racing to continue in Formula Renault 3.5 Series.
Manor F1 Team also confirmed Jordan King as development driver. This announcement is not surprising since the father of the 2013 champion of the F3 British, Justin King, is the interim president of the team.
