Romain Grosjean awaits LRGP's decision

After winning the GP2 Series title with Dams, Romain Grosjean shines at the wheel of the R31. The Frenchman twice dominated the starting drivers during free practice on Friday (Vitaly Petrov in Abu Dhabi and Bruno Senna at Interlagos). The absence of Robert Kubica having been confirmed by Lotus-Renault, the reserve driver is impatiently waiting for the British team to make its decision to select him as a starter next year.

“The situation is the same as before but the decision could come more quickly”, comments the Frenchman on Autosport. ?I have not been notified of any news yet. We knew it would be tough for Robert Kubica to come back at the start of next season and I knew Abu Dhabi was the first part of an audition. Let's hope there is a nice gift under the Christmas tree. Everyone must be patient. All the signals are green and I hope it works. »
