It's better. After three complicated free practice sessions, Romain Grosjean made a better impression during qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix. Although far behind his teammate Kimi Räikkönen, qualified second just behind Lewis Hamilton, the Frenchman rose to sixth place during Q3, his best ranking since his arrival in Shanghai. “Friday was tough and we missed some time on Saturday morning so it's a tough weekend, but I'm finally back in business”, he relates. “We had to chase down a few little issues here and there, but the engineers did a fantastic job getting the car where it is now.”
“My first lap on Softs in Q1 is actually my first with this type of tire this weekend so we had to guess a bit about the set-up, but I think we did pretty well”, confesses the French pilot. “Of course we always want to do better, but overall I’m happy. The car was really better this afternoon so it's up to us to see what we can do during the race?, concludes Romain Grosjean.
