Romain Grosjean fails to reach points

After the double retirement of the Lotus E23 Hybrids on the first lap in Melbourne, Australia, Romain Grosjean logically aimed for points this Sunday. Pastor Maldonado also had a complicated race, with a puncture on the first lap, a penalty for breaking the regulations behind the safety car, then a retirement nine laps from the goal following a brake problem.
