Romain Grosjean does not hide his dissatisfaction at Silverstone

Romain Grosjean clearly showed his dissatisfaction after Q3 of qualifying for the British Grand Prix this Saturday. 10th in the session, the Haas driver F1 Team felt embarrassed by Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) during the last part of the session. However, the British stewards did not impose a penalty on the driver of the No. 08 W44, who was able to maintain his pole position.

« If losing three or four tenths in a turn does not correspond to discomfort, I am very surprised, admitted the Frenchman in the Silverstone paddock. The rules are quite clear.

I know there is a world title up front but we are fighting just as hard as the riders up front. I was embarrassed and I think the sanction... maybe if it was another driver, there would have been something. It's as if sometimes there were two types of decision. »

Words that did not fail to provoke a reaction Toto wolff, boss of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport. « There are some who complain all the time and who continue to complain. If Romain starts asking for penalties for other drivers, look at his track record. He should be happy to drive in Formula 1." said the Austrian, quoted by Sky Sports.
