Romain Grosjean shared about his day

With the 15th time of the day and two seconds behind the best time of Michael Schumacher, Romain Grosjean admits that his day of testing is not perfect. If the team focused on the E20 set-up in the race rather than in qualifying, the Frenchman would have liked to be further ahead in the standings. There car British seems to be struggling to grip with the cool track which is a change from the Malaysian heat. Nevertheless, the reigning GP2 Series champion takes some positives.

“The conditions were a bit strange this morning and the afternoon session was a bit difficult”, recognized the Lotus driver. “We are not where we should be in part because of the cool temperatures that we did not expect. We will analyze the changes compared to the heat of the previous two weekends. The positive side is that I feel comfortable with the handling of the car, we have some set-up problems but it's not like the car is nowhere. I am convinced that we will be stronger tomorrow. It?s never easy to learn a new circuit with changing conditions, but at least I have already been able to practice with the intermediate tires. The circuit is nice and I was happy to be close to Kimi (Räikkönen) who clearly has a lot more experience here. »
