Rosberg bides his time

Nico Rosberg, at Williams since 2006 and its beginnings in Formula 1, is in the process of changing teams. The driver, who has repeatedly reaffirmed that he feels good within the Grove team, recognizes in his column for AUTOhebdo that he has the choice to continue his career in Formula 1. “ Brawn GP and Button, my future “friends”, they say. Wait a few more weeks and you will know everything. I am very confident about my professional future, with two great options in front of me… two teams which guarantee me victory and a fight for the title. " Knowing that Mercedes would like to see Nico Rosberg drive a car powered by his engine, the driver is often quoted at Brawn GP or McLaren.

If he wants to drive a car that can win, the German driver does not hesitate to admit his mistakes. In Singapore, Rosberg was in contention for the podium before he made a mistake when crossing the white line at the pit exit, subsequently receiving a drive through penalty. “ I felt sorry for the team who, despite their limited resources, had managed to give me a high-performance and reliable car. This 2nd place would have been the best reward I could offer him. Why such stupidity? I could say that the tires were not at the right temperature, that I slipped... No, it was just a story like I've had a few in my career: I wanted a little too much, I I exaggerated. I have learned to control myself over the years but, in this case, my ?illness? took me back! However, I know very well that this white line must not be crossed, that we must leave the stands ?cushion? ! This will serve as a lesson to me. »
