Rosberg: Purer racing with less radio

The duel between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton will enter a new phase at the Singapore Grand Prix contested this weekend. The FIA now prohibits teams from informing their drivers about performance, which will require great autonomy and good analysis of the situation from competitors. In the fight for the title, one of the two main contenders could benefit from this ban.

If the teams and the public wait to see the results on track, Nico Rosberg is optimistic about the effects that this ban will have on the F1. “All the fans were delighted, so it seems like a good move”, commented the German on Sky. “I think it’s clearly a good idea because the race will be even purer. Until now, we have acted so much based on what we were told on the radio. Now it's our turn to play. It will be totally different because we will be on our own to fend for ourselves. It could get a lot more interesting. We are going to move to 20% of communications, so this will be a major change. »
