Rosberg still hanging on the Red Bull coattails

Nico Rosberg had no regrets when he finished third on the grid for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The pilot Mercedes failed half a second from Red Bull by Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel and could hardly claim the first line. “My last lap in Q3 wasn't fantastic but I only had a slim chance of improving my time. Mark and Seb were just too fast for me to grab the front row, but I'm sure we can have a good race tomorrow. »

The son of the 1982 world champion is especially interested in the poor performance of the Team Ferrari which could weigh heavily in the Constructors' Championship where second place is at stake. Felipe Massa only took eighth place on the grid while Fernando Alonso completely failed at the gates of Q3. “It’s nice to have another positive Saturday with the team. We are the best of the rest again, which is our goal for this weekend. Starting from third and fourth place are good prospects for scoring many points in the Manufacturers' Championship. »

The start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be given tomorrow at 14 p.m. French time. Click on this link to see photos of the tests.
