Rosberg: “Hamilton will definitely come back”

Nico Rosberg scored his seventh consecutive victory, his fourth of the season in as many races contested, by winning the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi for the first time ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton.

Taking advantage of the mechanical problems of the triple world champion who started only in tenth position, the poleman dominated the Russian event by remaining in the lead from start to finish to increase his lead to 43 points over the Briton.

“The car was incredible, both in qualifying and in the race. I just needed to concentrate. I enjoyed every lap of the event”, commented the Championship leader on the podium in Sochi.

“I congratulate Lewis for managing to move up from tenth to second place. I continue to be wary because I expect him to return and I know he is very strong. My lead is significant but it is only the fourth race out of the 21 on the calendar. Lewis will definitely come back”, assured Nico Rosberg.
