Rosberg: “I attacked like crazy”

Nico Rosberg once again had to bow to Lewis Hamilton at the Canadian GP. If the German was able to catch up with the leader after his time in the pits, he was never able to appear threatening in the rear of the double world champion.

“It was a great race against Lewis. I attacked like crazy trying to put him under pressure, but he made no mistakes and I congratulate him.", declared Nico Rosberg. “I only missed a little something in qualifying because my pace in the race was good and the place on the grid made a big difference. »

Nico Rosberg had to be both threatening while keeping his W06 Hybrid put to the test on the Gilles Villeneuve circuit. “This race was complicated because we had to conserve fuel but above all the brakes which were particularly hot at the front and with which we had to adapt by changing the balance for example. Plus, I didn't get any fresh air following Lewis to cool them down.", said the German who is now 17 points behind his teammate.
