Rosberg: “I’m not stuck on the title”

Five victories in eight races, 24 points ahead of his main rival in the general classification Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg enters from a position of strength the pivotal period of the summer which will see the competitors of the World Championship of F1 compete in four events in five weekends.

A key moment of the season that Nico Rosberg will begin after regaining victory in Baku, Azerbaijan on June 19, after three complicated Grands Prix between Spain and Canada, a triptych which saw Lewis Hamilton dangerously reduce the gap.

"It's never easy to live, confesses the German. But it goes a little better when you think you haven't made a mistake on your part. The worst is when you know it's your fault... Generally speaking, I don't count points because only the result of the weekend is important. If I start giving too much importance to points, my races will suffer. »

The old pilot Williams knows he has a good chance of finally winning his first career title in 2016. « I'm not stuck on the title. I'm doing my thing, I'm good. It's my dream, it would be great, but I know it's not easy. Especially because I have Lewis nearby…”
