After surprising the world of F1 by announcing his retirement a few days after winning the title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Nico Rosberg relishes his independence from competition and Mercedes F1.
The German was questioned about his decision during the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) and he does not seem to express any regrets.
“There’s more to life than doing tricks, declared Nico Rosberg, quoted by Reuters. I am looking for new challenges. I'm suddenly enjoying my freedom. Renewable energies seem to be quite interesting. There are so many possibilities, like with electric cars. I also plan to visit sick children. »
The Mercedes ambassador added that he wanted to get back into skiing after being banned from it for more than a decade due to contract clauses and that he didn't understand what his former teammate was doing Lewis Hamilton to have such an intense life.
