Rosberg: Mercedes AMG F1 must react

Since his first victory at the Chinese GP last April, Nico Rosberg has shown exemplary consistency by constantly signing top ten finishes (during the following five races). But success has changed sides since the podium of Michael Schumacher in Valencia since the seven-time world champion finished in seventh place at Silverstone while Nico Rosberg failed outside the points in 15th place. The pilot Mercedes AMG F1 fears that the other teams will progress more quickly than the Silver Arrows and encourages his team to react as quickly as possible to be able to stay in the fight at the front.

“The others are attacking very hard now, particularly the teams at the front”, assures Nico Rosberg who still has a 52-point lead over his teammate. “We really need to respond to make sure they don't move away from us mid-season. So I'm looking forward to Hockenheim. It's a circuit that suits us much better, we will be at home, and I am optimistic to achieve a top result up there. I approached this weekend positively, thinking of making the podium if everything went well. But in the end, it was a weekend where we suffered several setbacks. The weather changed and it made the weekend pretty crazy. »
