Rosberg couldn't do anything against Hamilton in Melbourne

Nico Rosberg was only able to secure a double at Mercedes at the Australian GP. After an average start, the German was never able to come back within a second of Lewis Hamilton who only had to manage his lead to win. « Lewis drove like a world champion throughout the weekend. I couldn't beat him but I tried every round. I intend to pay him back in his own right.", commented the German.

Nico Rosberg's strategy did not pay off after waiting until the end of the race to put pressure on his British rival. “You may not have seen it but I was clearly on the attack”, assured the Mercedes driver. “But Lewis made no mistakes and it was impossible to get closer. I tried to conserve fuel in the middle of the race to fully attack at the end but I think Lewis did pretty much the same thing. »
