Rosberg remains confident for the Championship

Once again plagued by significant tire degradation, Nico Rosberg finished in seventh place in Barcelona after starting from sixth position. But even if this result seems disappointing, the German believes that the races to come will be more favorable to the package of the Mercedes W03. “I only lost two points on the Championship lead”, he comments. “I remain 20 points behind Sebastian (Hag) and Fernando (Alonso). It's a good thing as long as we continue to attack and improve. I hope that Monaco and Montreal will be circuits that suit us better. But for now, it?s difficult to know how the next race will go. »

Nico Rosberg agrees with his teammate's opinion Michael Schumacher noting that Mercedes AMG F1 loses big with the high degradation of its rubbers. “It was a difficult weekend,” concludes the recent winner of the Chinese GP. It was all about tire management. We hit our tires too much in qualifying and we did just as much in the race. We should have played more on tire management. This F1 season with ups and downs for everyone is truly incredible. This victory of Williams is fantastic news for them and I'm very happy for Frank (Williams) who is celebrating his 70th birthday. »
