Rosberg remains untouchable in Sochi

Nico Rosberg remains the only winner this season by winning the Russian Grand Prix which he dominated from start to finish. The Championship leader retained his pole advantage at the start and remained in the lead throughout the 53 laps of the race to claim his seventh success in a row.

Mercedes signs the double with Lewis Hamilton started from tenth position. The three-time world champion caught up with the leader before having to reduce his pace due to a hydraulic pressure problem. The Briton is 43 points behind the German.

Kimi Räikkönen offers the 700th podium to the Team Ferrari after maintaining the advantage over the Williams de Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa. His teammate Sebastian Vettel retired in the first round after being hit twice by Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) only 15th in his national event.

Fernando Alonso (McLaren) won his first points of the season by taking seventh place ahead of Kevin Magnussen who signs the first top ten of the year for Renault. Romain Grosjean (Haas) finished in eighth place after resisting Sergio Pérez (Force India). Jenson Button (McLaren) completes the top ten.
