Rosberg aims for podium at Spa

After achieving two fourth places in Germany and Hungary, Nico Rosberg once again scored important points during the European Grand Prix in Valencia. Fifth at the finish after starting from seventh on the grid, the German was satisfied with his race.

« It was a good weekend for us. The car once again performed well as it has on every circuit so far. », indicated Nico Rosberg. “ So I am satisfied with the direction in which the team is working. We should have been on the podium but McLaren took an even bigger step forward than us which is frustrating but we are still here and we should be on the podium soon. »

No time to breathe for the Monaco resident who, after a few days with friends on the rock, will leave for Spa-Francorchamps where the Belgian Grand Prix will take place this weekend. “ It should be good for the team. It's a very fast circuit, very different from Valencia but our car behaves well everywhere. It should go particularly well as we have an ideal aero package for fast corners, so I'm looking forward to it », concluded the pilot Williams.
