Ross Brawn: F1 talks with MotoGP

Liberty Media seems well geared towards openness. Ross Brawn, the Motors Sports director recruited by the new owners of the F1, confirmed to Reuters agency that the discipline had started discussions with the MotoGP.

Ross Brawn notably met Carmelo Ezpeleta, the executive director of the Dorna company which owns the MotoGP rights. The thinking heads of the two disciplines notably mentioned the problem of clashes of dates, with eight meetings taking place on the same weekends this season.

“There is an accessible area of ​​cooperation and we can learn from each other, explained Ross Brawn. It's difficult, sometimes even impossible, to sort out these dates. We were at least able to have a dialogue trying to work things out. »

Ross Brawn also admitted to having fallen under the spell of the promotion format put in place by Moto GP.
