Rossi in free practice for the Canadian and Austin GPs

Alexander Red has been a Caterham reserve driver since 2012 and has been able to participate in several Grand Prix free practice sessions. After having played two seasons in Formula Renault 3.5 Series, the 22-year-old American joined the GP2 Series peloton last year where he continues to defend the colors of Caterham Racing. Tony Fernandes' structure will offer his protégé the opportunity to take the wheel of the Caterham CT05 during two test sessions at the Grand Prix of Canada (June 6) and the USA (October 31).

“There is important work to be done every time I step into a F1 », comments Alexander Rossi. “Montreal and Austin represent important races for me and I would like to thank Caterham for allowing me to continue my development towards becoming a starter in F1. My GP2 program combined with my F1 reservist position gives me unparalleled experience. I have already trained for many hours on the simulator this year, but I will be driving the CT05 for the first time in Montreal. »
