After Toto wolff, it's Christian Horner's turn to irritate his opposite number in the paddock. And for that, the team principal of Red Bull decided to implement the same strategy: to speak publicly about a possible interest from one of his rival's drivers, in this case George Russell.

A way of responding to the Austrian who has continued to multiply media releases on the subject of Max Verstappen that he dreamed of attracting to Brackley to replace it Lewis Hamilton. " We are not afraid to come out of the woodwork, had Christian Horner slipped into Singapore. George Russell's contract is out at the end of next year and it would be foolish not to take that into account.. » Or how to get back at your counterpart.

However, Toto Wolff is not the type to stay planted like a stake. And when you tease him, he comes back to the charge. Of course. Christian is still trying to cause trouble (with the term “shit up”, he scolded. Warned by a colleague that this language could earn him a sanction from the FIA, the Austrian subtly arranged his speech.

« It's excrement. It's very natural., jokes-he. It's not about interacting with someone. It's about going to the toilet, I could discuss that with the stewards.

To get back to the main topic, he's a mess. But that's part of the game. George has always been a Mercedes driver and I hope he stays that way forever.. » Let the game begin!

Laurel and Hardy ... or rather Toto and Christian! It makes sense that Red Bull would be interested in Russell, especially if Verstappen ended up signing with Mercedes, because Toto won't part with his nugget Antonelli. Russell therefore has every interest in protecting his back and listening!
