Russell wants to see things clearly as quickly as possible by 2022

Question mark of the next transfer market, Mercedes attracts all desires. But for several months, two names have been circulating for a seat with the German team: Bottas and Russell. Quoted by the website of the F1, the English pilot from Williams is clear: he wants an answer by the end of the summer 

“I haven’t really talked about it with Toto wolff, says George Russell Wanting to sign my contract as quickly as possible has always been my approach. It's in everyone's best interest. I'm just focused on the present but I'm sure things will be sorted by the end of the summer. I think we all want to go on vacation with a light mind given the intensity of this season.”

Valtteri Bottas takes a more philosophical approach, but still hopes that discussions with Mercedes will begin in the coming months

“I think that naturally, discussions will begin in the coming months, confesses the Finnish pilot. I am quite open in life in general and we always need to take the opportunities that are offered to us because we never know what tomorrow will bring. I always want to follow my passion and today I am still a fan of Formula 1 and driving remains my priority.”

The question now is whether it will be behind the wheel of a Mercedes or another car. The Sealy Season has only just begun!
