Sainz, de Vries… drivers prepare for 2023

There are some who are lucky enough to ride. While pre-season testing is only scheduled for February 23 (until the 25th), some drivers are already in action. This is the case of Carlos Sainz et Nyck de Vries including.
Just over a month before the start of the 2023 season, the Spaniard was at Fiorano where he was able to take the wheel of the 21 Ferrari SF-2023. On the program? A very wet day since Carlos Sainz completed all of his 119 laps (around 354 kilometers) on wet tires. In the garage of the private track of the Team, Maya Weug and Arthur Leclerc, members of the Ferrari Driver Academy, were able to follow all the procedures. Charles Leclerc will take over this Thursday.

Meanwhile, less than a hundred kilometers from Fiorano, Nyck de Vries was training with Alpha Tauri. On the Imola track, where the Faenza team is used to doing its winter run-ins, the Dutchman rode for the second time with his new team.

After the 03 AT2022 in Abu Dhabi last November, the Batavian this time sat aboard the AT02 which notably allowed Pierre Gasly to score a podium in Baku in 2021.
