Sauber F1 Team unveils the C35

Clean F1 Team has just presented the C35 which will be entrusted to Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson in 2016. If the Swiss team participated in the first session of winter testing on the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona (Spain), it worked with the C34 of the 2015 season.

“We clearly want to progress”, commented Monisha Kaltenborn, Team Principal of Sauber F1 Team. “We are aiming for a specific position, but we need to establish ourselves as a mid-pack team in order to achieve that before looking at individual positions. Our two drivers had a promising first season, Felipe and Marcus made few mistakes and they learned from their mistakes. »

“The fight is going to be very close, but I am sure that we will progress with the new car and that we will be able to fight more regularly for points more often”, added Marcus Ericsson. “We managed to start the season well last year, but the second half of the season was more difficult. »

“It’s hard to say where we will be behind the top teams”, declared Felipe Nasr. “The team has worked very hard to exploit the areas where the car can improve and that is why I am confident. »
