Sauber F1 Team joins forces with Chelsea FC

Clean F1 Team surprised by announcing the support of Chelsea FC who recently qualified for the Champions League final against Bayern Munich after eliminating FC Barcelona. This partnership had been planned for several weeks, the Swiss team even having given clues during the last two races. The C31s indeed sported the phrases “Out of the Blue” and “True Blue” during the last two Grands Prix. The single-seaters of Kamui Kobayashi er Sergio Perez will have the logo of the British team from the next Spanish Grand Prix.

This alliance is a first in the discipline. The links between the two sports had already been made with the creation of the Superleague Formula in 2008. But this discipline was not really able to find its place and it stopped last year after seeing the successive cancellation of all its events due to lack of agreement with the event organizers.
