Sauber launches its Junior Team

Clean F1 Team will now have its young driver pipeline with the Sauber Junior Team. The stable ofHinwil has partnered with Charouz Racing System to track and develop future F1 contenders. This sector will be represented at different levels of the car : in German and Italian F4, in F3 and F2.

“Competition is an essential part of Sauber Motorsport and the Sauber Junior Team is an important milestone in the company’s history, comments Frédéric Vasseur, director of Sauber Motorsport and Team Principal of Sauber F1 Team. Sauber has a long history of helping drivers reach their maximum potential with drivers such as Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and the rising star Charles Leclerc."

« With this project, Sauber is developing its competition platform with a comprehensive program of promotional formulas up to the pinnacle of motorsport. We are delighted to partner with Charouz Racing System, a very professional team that operates successfully in all series”, adds the Frenchman.

Created in 1985, Charouz Racing System is a Czech structure established in Prague which has evolved in numerous motorsport disciplines. The structure is present in single-seaters having reached F2 this year after winning the Drivers and Teams titles in the World Series Formula V8 3.5 Series.
