Sauber continues its quest for points

With the financial difficulties now behind it, the team Clean must now materialize on the track in the last rounds remaining on the 2016 calendar. After having finally brought developments that remained in the boxes on its car C35 during the last rounds, the formation ofHinwil will continue its work for the event in the city-state, with new aerodynamic features.

But more than technical updates, it is points that the Swiss structure needs. The only team to have been unable to score a single unit since the start of the championship in Australia, Sauber could well take advantage of the still lively races in Singapore to do well and finally open their account.

In addition to taking advantage of a revised single-seater, drawing inspiration from the 2015 race, where Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson finished 10th and 11th, is a goal for Monisha Kaltenborn's men.

“Based on the testing during the previous race weekends, I am confident in the capabilities of our car, because I feel that we have done a step in the right direction, even if we cannot yet see the results, explains the Brazilian.

In Singapore, a lot can happen during the race, so we must seize every opportunity that may present itself. »

The Swiss team also remains one of the teams not to have officially confirmed its driver duo for 2017, while the Swedish-Brazilian pair was extended in the summer of 2015 for the current season.
