Mercedes GP showed good pace at Silverstone, placing its two cars in the points at the finish. Michael Schumacher however, had a difficult race. After his contact with Kamui Kobayashi (Sauber), for which he took responsibility, the seven-time World Champion suffered a stop and go depriving him of a place in the front rows.
Michael Schumacher, however, claims not to have lost his concentration on the track. “Each of this season’s collisions happened for a different reason”, argued Michael Schumacher to the Auto Motor und Sport newspaper. “I'm no different than before and I certainly haven't lost my concentration, as I proved at the start of the race. »
The German specifies that he is not looking to cause racing incidents, even if he has sometimes used aggressive driving. “ Unfortunately, some unexpected situations occurred in some races. Believe me, I find them useless and I would really have preferred to avoid them. I just try to fight as much as possible to be in front and I have to take risks to do that. »
