Schumacher tests the F2007 again

Michael Schumacher, in Valencia, will be the driver who rested the least during the month of August. Having accepted the challenge of returning to Formula 1, the seven-time world champion took his preparation very seriously. This is why, from this Tuesday, Michael Schumacher will once again ride aboard the F2007, ten days after its first tests at Mugello. If he did not have the right to test the F60, the car that he will drive in Valencia, the German will have the opportunity to perfect his physical condition. It is also on this occasion that he will try out his specially designed and reinforced helmet (More information).

It is therefore at the wheel of the F2007, with GP2 tires, that Michael Schumacher will experience two days of testing at Mugello, Tuesday and Wednesday. The German pilot will be able to particularly appreciate his body's resistance to effort. After the tests carried out ten days ago, the “Red Baron” admitted to suffering from neck pain and some muscle tension. These two days should also serve as a medical test, to find out if the champion is fit to return to the track for the European Grand Prix. And so it is in Valencia that he will discover the F60, its SREC (kinetic energy recovery system), its different curves, with less aerodynamic downforce and more grip on the tires.
