Sean Gelael lined up for four free practice sessions with Toro Rosso

Sean Gelael started as a development pilot of Toro Rosso this season alongside Pierre Gasly. He made his track debut during the Bahrain and Hungarian tests.

It is an honor to pilot a Formula 1, especially in Singapore and Malaysia, two countries very close to my native Indonesia."

The pilot of Formula 2 will take part in four free practice sessions starting with the Singapore Grand Prix in September, which is the closest thing to a home Grand Prix for the Indonesian. It will also run in Malaysia, the United States and Mexico.

Teammate of Norman Nato at Arden, Gelael is 20^e of the championship with 3 points, far from his podium signed last season.
