Sebastian Vettel bids farewell to Red Bull

The love story between Red Bull et Sebastian Vettel officially ended on November 28, the date on which the contract of the four-time world champion of F1 was ending, he who immediately took the direction of Italy and the Fiorano track to take his first steps last weekend with a Scuderia Ferrari F2012.

This Tuesday, however, Vettel appeared one last time at the Red Bull premises in Milton Keynes in England. After a few words from Team Principal Chrisitian Horner and Adrian Newey, the team's technical manager, the German was able to speak.

“You’re not making it easy, Vettel explained to begin his speech. The last six years have been incredible: how much we have accomplished, how much work has gone into it. There was a lot of passion and involvement. This will stay in my heart forever. A big, big thank you to everyone. We had the best car because we were the best team. A thank you can never adequately describe how I feel. I will keep very good memories of this place. It's been a great day, and I'm so grateful for everything you've done for me. »

The German should subsequently receive one of his world champion single-seaters as a gift.
