Sebastian Vettel: “We responded on the track”

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen offered a double to the Team Ferrari after qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, beating their rival Mercedes, who will monopolize the second line with Valtteri Bottas et Lewis Hamilton.

The two Silver Arrows, dominant in England during the last Grand Prix, were unable to provide a response to the speed of the SF70Hs on the Hungaroring. A performance which highlights Ferrari's relentless work to stay at the forefront.

« The front row for us is incredible and we are looking forward to tomorrow's race, admits Vettel after the end of the qualifying session. We work hard. The last race was not great for us.

We try to do our best. We are happy with our position and we must remember our position 12 months ago. But the main goal is tomorrow, so nothing is done. »

The German driver also believes that Ferrari provided a good response to the criticisms made about the Scuderia's race at Silverstone. « It's great, especially after the words after the last race, which went a bit far. We responded on the trail. »
