Sebastian Vettel can still improve at Suzuka

Sebastian Vettel once again occupied first place on the timesheet at the end of the first day of testing at Suzuka. With a lap completed in 1’33”852, the driver Red Bull was ahead of his teammate Mark Webber by a tenth while the Mercedes of Nico Rosberg follows by more than two tenths. Suffice to say that the Championship leader is aiming for a fifth victory in a row this season at the Japanese Grand Prix, where he already won last year, in order to further secure his fourth consecutive title.

“I don’t know what it looks like from the outside.”, commented the leader of the Championship who could win the title by winning and seeing his rival Fernando Alonso finish beyond ninth place. “I think the balance is quite good, but we can still improve the car because there is still a little room to improve. We will have to be careful with the tires, mainly for the race. Many people have had difficulties and establishing the best strategy for Sunday will be far from easy. »
