Sebastian Vettel: Start everything from scratch

With eleven victories and six podiums this year, Sebastian Vettel knocked out the competition to fly to a second world champion title in a row while Red Bull Racing also won its second consecutive title. If the basis of the RB7 will be valuable to Milton Keynes in designing its replacement, the ban on blown exhausts could well redistribute the cards in 2012. The German is aware of this and knows that he will only leave with his motivation intact.

“Everything will start from scratch and we will all have the same chances”, comments Sebastian Vettel on the BBC. “I can’t wait to get back to competing. We are all very happy with this year and it wouldn't be fair to ask for more. If we can replicate the 2011 season and be even better in some places, that would be fantastic. We have seen this team evolve together, it is like a child who has just been born. I don't have children but they told me it gave that impression. »
