The four-time world champion said he had no doubts about the imminent arrival of Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr in F1.

Sebastian Vettel sees Carlos Sainz Jr soon in F1

Current leader of the FR 3.5 championship, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr is increasingly cited to soon join the premier discipline in car. His entourage confirmed that discussions had started with Caterham F1 in order to ride why not this year. The son of the double world rally champion, however, indicated that his two main objectives remained the title in FR 3.5 and a seat at Toro Rosso, he who is a member of the Junior Team of Red Bull.

His arrival in F1, however, leaves little doubt for the world champion Sebastian Vettel. " He has real talent, explains the German to the Spanish newspaper AS. I'm sure we'll see it in F1. He's part of the Red Bull program and these boys are pushing behind us. You have to make sure you always go faster! He'll get his opportunity, that's for sure, just like we had. »

Sebastian Vettel went through Toro Rosso before arriving at Red Bull with the career he is known for. A journey identical to that of his teammate Daniel Ricciardo who replaced Mark Webber at the start of the season in the seat of the RB10 from the Faenza team, the Australian having left for Endurance in Porsche.
